UPDATE (8/29/2023): The following ramp closure has been added to this week's schedule.

Tuesday, August 29
Ramp from Nutley Street North to I-66 West
The ramp will be closed from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. for light pole installation. Traffic will be directed farther north to the traffic signal at Marshall Road/Virginia Center Boulevard, make a U-turn onto Nutley Street South, then follow signs to I-66 West.

FAIRFAX – Temporary ramp closures are scheduled to occur during the overnight hours at the following I-66 interchanges as part of the Transform 66 Outside the Beltway Project.

Monday, August 28
Ramp from Route 286 (Fairfax County Parkway) South to I-66 West
The ramp will be closed from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. for light pole installation. Traffic will be directed farther south to the ramp to I-66 East, stay to the right to the ramp to Route 286 North, then stay to the right to the ramp to I-66 West.

Monday, August 28, and Thursday, August 31
Ramp from I-495 North to I-66 West
The ramp will be closed both nights from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. for overhead bridge work. Traffic will be directed to continue north to Route 7 (Leesburg Pike) West, stay to the right to I-495 South, then follow signs to I-66 West.

Monday night, August 28
Ramp from Route 123 (Chain Bridge Road) North to I-66 West
The ramp will be closed from midnight to 4 a.m. for punch list work. Traffic will be directed to continue farther north to the traffic signal at White Granite Drive/Rose Forest Drive, stay to the left and make a U-turn onto Route 123 South, then follow signs to I-66 West.

Monday night, August 28
Ramp from Route 123 South to I-66 East
The ramp will be closed from midnight to 4 a.m. for punch list work. Traffic will be directed to I-66 West (prior to the closure), exit to Route 50 East, then stay left and follow signs to I-66 East.

Tuesday night, August 29, through Thursday night, August 31
Ramp from I-66 West to Route 50 West   
The ramp will be closed on multiple nights from midnight to 4 a.m. for punch list work. Traffic will be directed to continue farther west to Route 286 South, stay to the right to I-66 East, then follow signs to Route 50 West.

Tuesday night, August 29, through, Thursday night, August 31
Ramp from Route 286 North to I-66 East   
The ramp will be closed on multiple nights from midnight to 4 a.m. for guardrail work. Traffic will be directed farther north to the ramp to I-66 West, stay right to the ramp to Route 286 South, then stay right to I-66 East. 

Thursday night, August 31
Ramp from I-66 West to I-495 South   
The ramp will be closed from midnight to 4 a.m. for pipe repair. Traffic will be directed to continue farther west to Nutley Street, stay to the left and follow the roundabout onto Nutley Street South, stay right to I-66 East, then follow signs to I-495 South.  

Thursday, August 31
Ramp from I-66 East to Route 50 West
The ramp will be closed from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. for bridge work. Traffic will be detoured farther east to Route 123, stay to the left and turn left at the traffic signal onto Route 123 North, stay to the right to I-66 West, and then follow signs to Route 50 West.
