Update: The overnight lane closures on southbound Sycamore Street at I-66 will occur again Wednesday night, Jan. 16 to complete the overhead sign replacement. The lane closures will begin at 9 p.m. and last until 5 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 17. There will be temporary stoppages lasting up to 20 minutes each between midnight and 5 a.m.

EAST FALLS CHURCH – Southbound Sycamore Street will have lane closures, including intermittent full closures, just before the I-66 overpass Tuesday night, Jan. 15 for overhead dynamic message sign replacement, according to the Virginia Department of Transportation.

The single-lane closures will occur between 9 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 15 and 5 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 16. Temporary stoppages lasting up to 20 minutes each will occur between midnight and 5 a.m.

Drivers should expect delays and are advised to use alternate routes.
