Closures on Water Crossings, Interstates, and Other Notable Detours for the Week of May 14-20
NOTE: This list covers full closures of interstates, ramps, bridges and primary roads, and lane closures at the bridge-tunnels and the Berkley, Coleman, High Rise and James River bridges.
*Scheduled closures are subject to change based on weather conditions and other factors.*

Hampton Roads Bridge-Tunnel, I-64:
- Alternating, single-lane closures eastbound May 15-17 from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m.
Monitor-Merrimac Memorial Bridge-Tunnel, I-664:
- Alternating, single-lane closures northbound May 17-18 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
- Alternating, mobile single-lane closures southbound May 16 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
- Alternating, single-lane closures May 16-17 from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m., with brief, intermittent stoppages after 11:59 p.m.
Berkley Bridge, I-264:
- Alternating, double-lane closures westbound May 15-18 from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m.
James River Bridge, Route 17:
- Single-lane closures in both directions with brief, intermittent stoppages May 14-17 from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m.
- Alternating, mobile, single-lanes closures from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
- Southbound May 15 and May 17-19
- Northbound May 15-16 and May 19
George P. Coleman Bridge, Route 17:
- Full closures with brief, intermittent stoppages in both directions May 16 from 10-11 a.m.

Elizabeth River Tunnels (Downtown/Midtown Tunnels):

- Alternating single-lane closures on I-64 east from Old Stage Road (Exit 227) to Croaker Road (Exit 231) May 14-20 from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m.
I-64, Express Lanes:
- Full closures in both directions May 15 from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
I-264, Norfolk
- Single-lane closures with brief, intermittent stoppages on the on-ramp from City Hall Avenue to I-264 east and Tidewater Drive May 15-18 from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m.
I-264, Virginia Beach
- Full closure of the on-ramp from northbound Independence Boulevard to I-264 east May 15-18 from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m.
I-464, Norfolk
- Full closure of the on-ramp from Berkley Avenue to I-464 south May 15-18 from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m.
Other Notable Closures
Denbigh Boulevard, Newport News:
