NORTHERN NECK FERRY SCHEDULE REVISED FOR YEAR-END HOLIDAYS
Service on the Merry Point and Sunnybank ferries will be suspended on Thursday, Dec. 24-Saturday, Dec. 26 and on Friday, Jan. 1
FREDERICKSBURG, Va. – The schedule has been revised over the year-end holidays for two ferry services operated by the Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) in the Northern Neck region.
Due to the Christmas Eve, Christmas, and New Year's Day holidays, the Merry Point Ferry in Lancaster County and the Sunnybank Ferry in Northumberland County will not operate on the following dates:
- Thursday, Dec. 24
- Friday, Dec. 25
- Saturday, Dec. 26
- Friday, Jan. 1
Both ferries will be in service on Saturday, Jan. 2.
Ferry service may be affected by wind, weather and tides. Real-time updates on ferry service are available on 511Virginia.
